Ann Stewart is considered to be among a very small group at the top of the jazz banjo world. She is the vocalist, banjoist and leader of Chicago's premier Dixieland Show Band. Her percussive, swinging style along with her energy and enthusiasm fuels the exclusive arrangements performed by the band.

Ann and the Banjo Buddies Dixieland Jazz Band specialize in, but are not limited to, Classic Dixieland Jazz and standards spanning three decades. They are listed in the Illinois Association Hall of fame as "Entertainers of the Year," on the Illinois Artstour Roster and have recorded eight albums.
